People develop their personalities through the performance of attitudes, behaviors, and images of who they might want to be. And oftentimes, through social media channels, individuals observe these attitudes, behaviors, and images of others and imagine what it would be like to try these on for themselves.

        Ensuring one’s impression of him or herself can be important in one’s career progression. Digital tools provide a very controlled space in which people can explore, express, and edit their sense of self.

        Imagine you are a social media specialist for a public relations firm and have been selected to help an individual improve their online impression to get their dream job.

        Select an individual who you are somewhat familiar with either in your personal or professional circle that has both a LinkedIn profile and Facebook or Instagram account.
