Statement of the Problem
Working in the intensive care unit for the past five years, I have seen many patients with sepsis at near death-awkward sentence reword. Many times sepsis is discovered too late and the patient deteriorates rapidly and interventions are useless. In the past five years, I have not seen one particular treatment that is consistently done to treat sepsis. Hydrocortisone, vitamin C and thiamine are IV therapies have been used to treat sepsis and septic shock.
There are sepsis protocols that need to be followed when certain signs and symptoms arise, but often medical professionals do not implement these protocols. We need early detection and actions to prevent and treat sepsis

The purpose of this research is examine if early detection of sepsis reduces poor patient outcomes. . According to Patocha (2010), the sepsis mortality rate in sepsis has not changed between 1970 until 2010 – does this mean the sepsis rate has improved?.

This seems like a good topic but needs more focus. Not sure if you want to examine if early detection reduces mortality or examining if using hydrocortisone, vit c and thiamine reduces sepsis mortality. Major APA problems.
